Decadent Chocolate Brownie

Decadent Chocolate Brownie Recipe


½ stick of butter
½ cup oil
6 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
1 ¼ cup sugar
2 tbs brown sugar
3 eggs
¼ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
½ cup flour
½ tsp. kosher salt
½ tsp. vanilla extract


1/4 pound semisweet chocolate
¼ pound very dark chocolate
1 cup heavy cream
1 tbs unsalted butter


1. Preheat the oven to 350. Oil and flour an 8 inch baking pan.
2. Melt butter and oil together, and then stir in chopped chocolate until smooth. Add sugar until combined, and then add the eggs one at a time. Mix in vanilla.
3. Fold in cocoa and salt, and then add flour slowly until thoroughly combined.
4. Pour batter into the pan. Bake for 35 minutes, or until a toothpick in the center comes out mostly clean.
5. Heat heavy cream and butter in a sauce pan. Stir in chocolate until smooth.
6. Serve brownies warm with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and a drizzle of fresh sauce.
