Grilled Salmon with Lime Sauce

This beautiful Mediterranean inspired grilled salmon recipe is relatively easy to make and the lime sauce adds an elegant spin on this classic dish. This restaurant quality meal will be a sure hit with your family.


  • 4 6-ounce salmon fillets
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Limes, sliced, for garnish
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup fresh lime juice
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • ½ tsp. black pepper
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
  • Asparagus, lightly steamed
  • Cherry tomatoes, halved
  • Red onion, sliced
  • Herbs, for garnish


  1. Season the salmon with salt and pepper and grill over medium heat until cooked through and flaking easily with a fork, about five minutes per side.
  2. Combine the garlic, lemon juice, salt, black pepper, butter and cayenne in a blender. Blend until rich and creamy. Taste and season with more salt and pepper if necessary.
  3. Serve the salmon with steamed asparagus and top with the lime sauce, adding a lime slice and herbs for garnish and serving with an onion tomato salad.
