Hot Chocolate Mocha Brownie with Walnuts. First of all, Brownies and walnuts: there really isn’t anything better! But add in the depth of mocha and you have an out of this world brownie recipe.

Hot Chocolate Mocha Brownie with Walnuts Recipe


1 stick of butter
½ cup oil
8 ounces dark chocolate, chopped
1-¼ cup flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
4 eggs
2 cups sugar
2 tablespoons coffee, cooled
1 cup walnuts


1. Preheat the oven to 350 and brush a 9-by-9 pan with oil. Dust with flour.
2. Melt butter and oil together, and then whisk in chocolate until smooth.
3. Mix the dry ingredients together, and then the eggs, sugar and coffee in a separate bowl. Add the chocolate mixture to the eggs, and then add the dry ingredients to this. Blend softly but thoroughly. Fold in the walnuts.
4. Pour the batter into the pan. Bake for 40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out of the center almost clean.
