Okra and Tofu Recipe

Here is a healthy and still great tasting Okra and Tofu recipe. The okra adds a bit of a deep south flare to the dish that keeps this meal interesting enough to keep you coming back for more.

Okra and Tofu Recipe

Ingredients

1 block extra-firm tofu, cubed
2 cups okra, cubed
1 tsp. fresh ginger, grated
1 tsp. fresh garlic, grated
1 cup chicken broth
1 tbs Sriracha, or to taste
1 tbs oil

Directions

1. Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sautee ginger and garlic until translucent, adding in okra before the aromatics begin to brown.
2. Sautee over medium heat for about 10 minutes. Add in tofu, stirring to combine. Add chicken broth and Sriracha. Reduce heat and simmer for five to 10 minutes. Remove to a platter to serve.
