On The Go Sunrise Oatmeal Bars

Here are some quick and easy Sunrise Oatmeal Bars you and your family will love. With today’s ultra-busy schedules, it is not always easy to get in a healthy breakfast. Well, with these little wonders you will feel full and have energy all morning long. No one has time for a full sit down breakfast with school, careers, after school activities, running businesses and fast food is just so expensive and unhealthy. So, give these a try instead.


2 cups old fashioned oats
1 cup whole wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 1/2 cup milk (any kind of milk)
3 tablespoons agave
1/2 cup applesauce
1 large egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
3/4 cup dried fruit (any 1 or a mixture - cranberries, raisins, blueberries, or cherries)
1/2 cup nuts (any of your favorites will work here, or a combination)
