Super Simple Carrot Cream Soup Recipe

This Super Simple Carrot Cream Soup Recipe is delightfully easy to make and still bursting with flavor. If you really want to go the extra mile, try serving it with a carved carrot rose to impress your date or express your creativity. 

Super Simple Carrot Cream Soup Recipe

4 large carrots (cut and cleaned)
4 cups chicken broth ( can subsitute vegetable broth)
½ cup heavy whipping cream
1 tablespoon butter
salt and pepper to taste

Instructions: ( Yields: 4-5 servings)
In medium sauce pan, bring chicken broth and cut carrots to a boil, reduce heat and simmer uncovered for approximately 15 minutes or until carrots are tender. Cool for 10 minutes.

In a blender, blend the ingredients until smooth consistency. Pour back into sauce pan and stir in the cream and butter. Salt and pepper to taste.
