Tomato Stuffed with Cheese (Pizza Reconstructed)

This Tomato stuffed with cheese recipe is an amazing and gooey recipe your family will love. It’s like a pizza deconstructed minus the crust. You can always add some croutons to the recipe if you want to try to pull off the pizza re-imagined idea.


Whole large tomatoes
Mozzarella cheese, grated
Black pepper


1. Remove the tops of the tomatoes with a paring knife, reserving it. Scoop out the centers of the tomatoes with a spoon, leaving some meat around the sides.
2. Mix grated mozzarella cheese with the basil to taste. Season with pepper. Preheat the oven to the low broil setting.
3. Stuff the tomatoes with the cheese mixture. Place on a baking sheet and broil just until the cheese is melted.
4. Let the tomatoes cool and top with the reserved tops. Serve.
